The easiest way to freshen up the outside of your home without any heavy lifting is switching out accessories. For me, that means changing my front door wreath. I haven’t found a wreath since I took down my fall cornhusk wreath, so my door has been bare for the last few months. With the warm weather finally coming in, I’m ready to add a spring wreath to welcome our guests.
Our front door is original to our farmhouse so it has a large window taking up nearly half of the door. The easiest way I’ve found to hang my wreath is with a thumb tack and fishing wire. 3M hooks are no match for the winds here so I simply string the wreath on heavy duty fishing wire and tap the gold thumb tack into the back of my door (up and over the frame). Works like a charm!
