I refuse to apologize for the cheesy title. Moms gotta mom. I know we’re getting down to the wire on 4th of July of fashion for the minis but if it’s one thing I live for, it is holiday themed matching outfits for children. It may or may not be why I wanted a large(ish) family (I KID…maybe). So if you’re still in the market for outfits, I AM HERE TO HELP.
I try not to buy specific this is for INSERT HOLIDAY specific shirts/outfits because even though I am on that Christmas jammies in July are FINE train, I need some longevity out of clothes because I try (surprisingly) to limit their wardrobes. So, how we (I) do. Pick a color theme and go nuts. My kids always look great in blue so I usually start there and add in pops of red. I also am known to swing by the $1 Target aisle for some accessories.
Winning holiday combo: coordinating colors + matchy-matchy shoes + $1 sunglasses. Here’s what I found at my usual kiddo clothes haunts. Adorable for 4th of July but still perfect for the rest of the year.
for the boys: one/two/three/four
for the girls: one/two/three/four/five/six
basket/star hat/baseball hat/glasses/hairbow
This year we’ll be skipping the beach as mama just can’t imagine walking 12 miles to the water loaded down with all the things needed for a full beach day. This year we’re doing swimming, parade and fireworks close to home.
baby boy: one/two/three
baby girl: one/two/three
Happy 4th of July friends! May your beers be cold and your swimsuits be sand free.
