We survived the first week back to preschool! Our summer laziness made me forget what a herculean task it is to get three children dressed, fed, and out the door before 8:10 am. I sympathized with all of my friend’s first day of kindergarten sobs (I’ll be a mess next year) but this year I hardly slowed the van down at drop off. 😉
Grandma decided to spoil the kids with new backpacks this year so I did an annoying amount of searching for cute (no character bags because mean mom, reporting for duty), functional bags for the minis. I couldn’t let all of my unnecessary research (read:googling) go to waste so, if you’re in the market for a new school bag, I got you girl.

We went with the Fjallraven bags, mostly for their durability but the state bags were a close second. The kids love the fox on them because some how I was talked into checking out the library book What Does the Fox Say. If you’re wondering if it is literally just the words to the song written out, you would be correct. If you’re wondering if my baby now says hotty-hotty-ho when asked what a fox says, you would also be correct.
